A new boiler is a big purchase, and the boiler itself is only half of it. The other half is how it is fitted: whether it is the right size for the house, whether the system is cleaned and protected before it goes on, and whether the controls are set up so it runs as efficiently as it should.
We start with a visit. We look at your current setup, how many bathrooms you have, how you use hot water and where the boiler and flue can go. Then we recommend the right type, combi, system or regular, and give you a written quote. If your current boiler can be repaired at sensible cost, we will tell you that too.
On the day we remove the old boiler, flush the system, fit the new one with a magnetic filter to protect it, and set up the controls. When it is done we commission it, show you how it works, and register it with the manufacturer for the warranty and with Building Control through Gas Safe, which is a legal requirement.
Most straight swaps are done in a day. Moving the boiler or converting from a tank and cylinder system to a combi usually takes two to three days, and we tell you up front.

Do I need a combi, system or regular boiler?
It depends on your house and how much hot water you use at once. A combi suits most homes with one bathroom. Homes with two or more bathrooms often do better with a system boiler and a cylinder. We will explain the options on the visit.
Will you register the warranty?
Yes. We register the boiler with the manufacturer for the warranty and notify Building Control through Gas Safe. You get the paperwork for both.
