If you rent out a property with gas appliances, the law says every appliance, flue and the gas pipework must be checked once a year by a Gas Safe registered engineer, and your tenants must get a copy of the certificate.
We carry out the full check: we test the gas pipework for tightness, check each appliance is burning safely, check the flues and ventilation and test the safety devices. If everything passes you get the certificate the same day. If something fails, we tell you what and why, make it safe and quote to put it right.
We work with landlords and letting agents across Newbury, Thatcham and Reading, and we can arrange access with your tenants directly. If you have several properties we can keep track of when each certificate is due and remind you.

Common questions
How often does a landlord need a gas safety certificate?
Every 12 months. You can have the check done up to two months before the due date and keep the original expiry date.
What happens if an appliance fails?
We make it safe, label it and explain the fault. Then we quote to repair or replace it. A failed appliance cannot be used until it is fixed.
Can you deal with my tenants directly?
Yes. Give us their details and we will arrange a time with them and send you the certificate when it is done.
