When the boiler stops, you want it fixed quickly and you want to know what it is going to cost. That is how we work.
We come out, find the actual fault and tell you what needs doing and what it will cost before we start. Common problems include no heating or hot water, the pressure dropping, the boiler locking out or showing an error code, strange noises, a frozen condensate pipe in cold weather and leaks from the boiler itself.
A lot of repairs are done on the first visit. If a part has to be ordered, we tell you how long it will be and make the boiler safe in the meantime.
If the boiler is old and the repair would cost more than it is worth, we say so honestly and give you the price of a replacement to compare. We will never push you into a new boiler you do not need.

Common questions
Can you fix any make of boiler?
We work on all the common makes of gas boiler. If a part is hard to get for an older model we will tell you before we go any further.
My boiler pressure keeps dropping. What does that mean?
Usually a small leak somewhere in the system, a faulty pressure relief valve or an expansion vessel that has lost its charge. Topping it up gets you going, but if it keeps happening it needs looking at.
My boiler has stopped in freezing weather. What should I check?
If it is a condensing boiler, the condensate pipe outside may have frozen. Pouring warm, not boiling, water over it and then resetting the boiler often gets it going. If not, ring us.
