Some jobs cannot wait. A burst pipe, a leak coming through the ceiling, a boiler that has stopped in the middle of winter or no hot water with a house full of people.
Ring 07570 816746 and tell us what is happening. We will get to you as quickly as we can, often the same day, make it safe and fix it, or tell you exactly what is needed if a part has to be ordered.
While you wait: for a leak, turn the water off at the stop tap, which is usually under the kitchen sink, and turn off the boiler. If water is near electrics, turn the electricity off at the consumer unit. For a boiler, check the pressure gauge and, in freezing weather, whether the condensate pipe outside has frozen.
If you smell gas, do not use switches or naked flames, open the windows, turn off the gas at the meter if you can and ring the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999 straight away.
