Underfloor heating gives you even, comfortable warmth with no radiators taking up wall space. It is a popular choice for kitchen extensions, open-plan rooms and bathrooms.
We install wet underfloor heating, where warm water from your boiler runs through pipes laid in the floor. We work out the pipe layout for the room, fit the manifold and mixing unit, and connect everything to your boiler and controls, with a thermostat for each zone so you can heat rooms separately.
Underfloor heating works best when it is planned in early, before the screed or floor goes down, so if you are building an extension it is worth talking to us at the start. We are happy to work alongside your builder.
We can also connect new underfloor zones to an existing radiator system, so you can have underfloor heating in the extension and keep radiators in the rest of the house.

Can underfloor heating run off my existing boiler?
In most cases, yes. We check the boiler has enough capacity and fit a mixing unit so the floor runs at the right temperature.
When should I book underfloor heating for an extension?
Early, before the floor is laid. The pipes go down before the screed, so we need to be on site at the right stage of the build.
Can I have underfloor heating in one room and radiators elsewhere?
Yes. That is very common and we set the controls up so each area is heated separately.
